  • Clay is magic!                                                                                                                              Noted local potter and clay instructor, Denise Kupiszewski, will be offering classes starting in February.
  • Children’s Clay Class, Saturday, February 22, 11-1                                                  Open to children 8 to 88. Students will make 2 projects. For example, they might create an animal and a small toy. Class fee of $17 per session includes all supplies and firing afterward. Finished pieces will be available for pick up the following Friday.
  • Valentine Clay Class –Saturday, February 8, 11-1                                                 Students construct a Valentine mug while adding their own decorative texture, color, and message.
  • Beginning Woodcarving with Co-op member Nancy Streeter – Three 2-hour sessions on Sundays, March 16, 23, and 30, 2:00 – 4:00pm.  Students carve a bear or other animal.  Instruction includes the use and care of carving tools, carving methods and techniques.  Completed carving can be painted in class.  Those with prior experience can do more advanced projects after consulting with the instructor.  Fee $48 plus $15 materials fee per person.
  • March 8 Clay Class – Students will make a textured platter and bowl – make a small serving platter with handles and a bowl with lace texturing. 12:00 – 1:30 PM.
  • March 29 Clay Class – Students will make a puzzle mug – create a mug only you will know how to drink out of, and anyone else will just get dribbled on! 12:00 – 1:30 PM.
  • April 19 Clay Class – Students will make a bird house. 12:00 – 1:30 PM.  Class fee of $17 per session includes all supplies and firing afterward. Finished pieces will be available for pick up the following Friday.
